All projects are curated from a slab of clay that's laid out by the same hand roller most people use for baking. I put all my positive energy into everything I make. I turned my home office into a mini pottery studio where I make and paint all my pieces. After, I take them to my favorite studio in Hollywood where I get them bisque and glaze fired.
Nazan Ceramics are intended for every day use. Though they are dishwasher and microwave safe, hand washing and handling with care will extend the life of your ceramics. Hand washing is absolutely recommended particularly for pieces with colored underglaze designs on the edges. The more delicate the piece, the less heat exposure the better.
In a production studio, the process of making one batch of mugs from start to finish generally takes at least two weeks. My process may vary anywhere from 3-4 weeks. There is no production team or home kiln. There is a larger handling period from when a piece is sculpted to when it arrives to the studio for multiple firings, glazing, as well as transportation before it is ready to ship.
Happy, Positive, Loving, Fun, Quirky, Energetic, Blossoming, Modern are some words used to describe my style. I am always testing my boundaries and shifting into new projects.
A few years ago I was a PreMed major. I lost myself in the 9-5 lifestyle. I couldn't maintain a healthy mental state for a bit. No matter the circumstances, I remained positive and pottery has guided me to no longer experience panic attacks anymore.

I currently am a home 'studio' artist. I am located in the Fort Lauderdale area, and fire my pieces in the best studio in Hollywood, Florida.
I learned my love for ceramics during summer camps in Miami. I can thank my mom for signing me up. I was around 11 yrs old when I discovered my passion. It took me until I was 26 to realize this is my calling.
The entire process takes about 4 weeks. I create my pieces at home, then transport them for bisque firing, which may take about 1.5 weeks. Once bisque fired & glaze fired, it's ready for the market. The process takes some time because I do not have my own kiln. Yet! (:
